Steam Injection remediationSteam injection is used to enhance the recovery of oils from the subsurface.  It is used to lower the viscosity of heavy oils and to increase the volatility of light oils.  The technique is applicable both above and below the water table and has proved successful on volatile and semi-volatile liquid contaminants as well as non-volatile compounds in the aqueous phase.  These ‘released’ oils are then recovered by our soil vapour extraction (SVE) system and treated within our MULTIBUSTER® unit.

Please call or e-mail to discuss the applicability of this technique to one of your sites.
